Hello there!

My name is Jennifer L. Dunning. I’m a current archaeology student on my way to obtaining my Registered Professional Archaeologist license. I’m also Jewish and a late-diagnosed AuDHD woman.

Join me on my journey as I navigate a previously inaccessible industry for people like me.

After an eclectic decade in the workplace, a stint as a professional singer, and even an incomplete theology degree—I’m returning to school to pursue my childhood dream to become an archaeologist. I plan to focus my studies and become an expert in folklore and oral traditions, especially how they intersect with and can be adapted for archaeological research as well as their influence on societies, both past and present.

As a neurodivergent woman and religiously observant minority in a STEM trade, I also speak about my difference in perspective and any challenging experiences I have, sharing tips on how I’ve overcome social barriers that may have previously hindered individuals like myself.
